| 1. Definitions |
“Exhibition” and “Event” is Home Front 2011. The “Exhibitor” means any person, firm or organization, which is allocated a space by the organizer in the above said exhibition. The application for exhibit space
at Home Front 2011 will be treated as a contract with Avant Garde PLUS and CREDAI Bengal (herein after
called as organizer) upon its written acceptance. This is based upon the terms and conditions set forth
below, the plan of exhibits, rates, rules and regulations as may be established from time to time and as
set forth in exhibitor service manual all of which constitute a part of this contract. |
| 2. Application for Participation |
| All applications for participation should be made in the prescribed form along with an advance of 50% of
the total exhibit space rental cost. The submission of the application form shall be deemed to be the
confirmation of the participation and full acceptance of the ‘Terms and conditions of participation’ as
stated herein. This application shall become a valid contract upon the Organizer accepting the
application. The application and confirmation of its receipt does not constitute grounds for any claim for
approval, or to any specific location or site of exhibit space. In particular, the organizer is entitled to
implement reductions in the exhibit space applied for if the exhibition area available is over or under
subscribed. The Organizer reserves the right to accept or refuse any application without assigning any
reason whatsoever. |
3. Allotment of Exhibit Space |
| Exhibit space will be allocated strictly on lottery basis. The decision of the Organizers shall be final and binding on the exhibitor. The exhibit space allotted is non-transferable. |
| 4. Terms of Payment |

All cheques to be drawn on “CREDAI Bengal” payable at par, Kolkata |
| b |
The exhibitor shall make an application by paying 50% of the total exhibit space rental cost as an
advance. |
| c |
The balance must be paid within 30 days of Exhibition Date. Please collect the possession
certificate after final payments to be able to occupy the exhibition venue |
| d |
For any other additional services, payments must be made full in advance while submission of
application to procure the required services. |
| e |
Payment by the stipulated date is a pre-requisite for the exhibitor’s participation. |
| f |
In the event of default of payment, the exhibitor’s application shall be deemed to be cancelled
and the advance forfeited within 7(seven) days from the date on which the amount falls due. |
| g |
The Organizer shall reserve the right to claim payment due from the defaulting exhibitor. |
| h |
The exhibitor shall not be entitled to any form of compensation whatsoever, for the loss of
profits or otherwise. |

| 5. Food and Water |
| |
Lunch packets will be provided at each stall on all four days of the event. Every 9 sq mtr stall will be
provided 2 lunch packets and 2 litres of water and in multiples thereof. |

| 6. Stall fabricators |
| |
Only qualified and pre approved fabricators will be allowed to work in the exhibition premises. This is to
ensure adherence to exhibition guidelines and to avoid late completion of the stall fabrication. Exhibitors
have to ask their respective vendors to get in touch with the organizers to get themselves approved. In
case of non approval, exhibitors will have to choose a different vendor |

| 7. Withdrawal by Exhibitor |
| |
Exhibitor will not be permitted to withdraw from, cancel, alter or reduce in any way their booking in the
exhibition. The Organizer may at their discretion allow the exhibitor to withdraw from the exhibition,
provided the Exhibitor gives a written notice to the Organizer at least before 60 days prior to the
exhibition commencement date. Any request of withdrawal after that date will not be entertained and
the advance amount shall be forfeited. |

| 8. Dates and Venue |
| |
The Organizer shall reserve the right to change the venue, dates, schedules and layout of the event. Any
change in terms and conditions for the benefit of the exhibition will be notified to the exhibitors from
time to time. |

| 9. Exhibit Guidelines |
| |
Exhibitors are required to submit their design at least 10 days in advance. The maximum permissible
height is 8 ft. An additional 2 ft height can be used for branding (in a limited area), provided it does
not block the A.C. vent (refer lay out diagram). The exhibitor needs to secure the gate passes and
clearance certificates from the organizers before they take their exhibits out of the venue. |

| 10. Security & Insurance |
| |
The Organizer, its directors, trustees, officers, employees and representatives will not be responsible for
the safety of articles at the venue. |
|
| 11. Damage & Compliance |
| |
The exhibitor shall not cause damage or permit any damage to be done to the exhibition venue or services
provided during the exhibition. Exhibitors shall comply with all the rules and regulations, laws laid down
by the Organizers of the exhibition and conference. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the
Organizer's decision will be final. |

| 11. Jurisdiction |
| |
Any dispute arising out of this Terms and conditions or otherwise shall be subject to the exclusive
jurisdiction of the courts at Kolkata, WB, India. |
